Inference providers
SigmaShake offers three lanes for the models that your agents use. Pick one lane.
Pick a lane
- Open the SigmaShake dashboard.
- Open Terminal settings > Inference.
- Pick one of the three choices:
- Your Claude plan (official Claude Code login)
- Your Anthropic API key
- SigmaShake credits (Anthropic list price + 20%)
The credits choice shows Not available yet. Hosted Claude credits are coming soon.
The three lanes

Anthropic rate limits can still apply to SigmaShake credits. The limits of your Claude plan or your API key apply to the lane that uses them.
The Pro seat is required for every lane. See Plans and limits.
What happens to credits
- SigmaShake credits do not expire.
- When your Pro seat ends, you cannot use credits. The credit balance stays on your account. You can use the balance again when your seat is active again.
- Credits are not refundable, except where the law requires a refund. SigmaShake refunds your unused balance to the original payment method in two cases: SigmaShake permanently stops hosted Claude inference for all users, or SigmaShake ends your account for a reason other than your breach of the Terms of Use. If you delete your account yourself, SigmaShake does not refund your unused balance, except where the law requires a refund. See the Terms of Use.
Claude Code runs only on your own plan or your own key
Claude Code runs only on your own Claude plan or on your own Anthropic API key. The Anthropic terms require this (Claude Code legal and compliance).
Claude Code does not run on SigmaShake credits.
For Your Claude plan, SigmaShake servers never receive your Claude login. The local ssg reads the login on your machine. It sends the login only to Anthropic, to read your account usage and to refresh the login.
Store your Anthropic API key
To use your own API key:
- Open Terminal settings > Inference.
- Pick Your Anthropic API key. The key field, Save key, and Remove show only while this choice is selected.
- Paste your key into the key field. The key must start with
sk-ant-. - Click Save key.
SigmaShake stores the key write-only. You cannot read the key again. The dashboard shows the last 4 characters only, for example Key ending in 1a2b.
Remove your API key
- Open Terminal settings > Inference.
- Select Your Anthropic API key. If a key is stored, click Remove.
The stored key is deleted. The agents that use this lane stop. Add a new key or pick another lane.
